Once goals are set through the GROW Model, and motivation is sparked by Autonomy, Mastery, and Purpose, the next step is ensuring people follow through. That’s where accountability comes in.

Even with clear goals and strong motivation, progress stalls if accountability isn’t handled well. Too often, leaders swing between avoiding issues or coming down too hard. Accountability done right is about clarity and care - having early, proportionate conversations that keep people on track and growing.
